Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi blasted a commanding century to help his side to a crushing 139-run win over Bangladesh in their Asia Cup dead rubber in Dambulla on Monday.
After electing to bat first, Afridi (124) anchored the innings, while Imran Farhat (66), Shahzaib Hasan (50) and Umar Akmal (50) gave him good support to post a total of 385 for seven from their 50 overs.
Imrul Kayes (66) and Junaid Siddique (97) got good scores for the Tigers, but they never looked like chasing down their target as they succumbed to one of their biggest one-day international defeats.
Tamim Iqbal and Kayes put on 39 runs for the first wicket to give the Tigers a slow but steady start to their chase.
Mohammad Asif removed in-form Iqbal (34) in the eighth over, but Siddique gave good support to Kayes as the duo helped the Tigers reach the 100-run mark at the end of the 23rd over.
Siddique completed his half-century as his side reached 129 at the end of the 31st over but a failure to kick on ensured they were always struggling to keep up with the run-rate.
Kayes also reached his 50 soon after but the asking rate was by now up to more than 15 runs per over.
Siddique blasted two sixes off Abdul Razzaq in the 38th over to break the shackles but then lost his wicket to Afridi while trying to repeat the show.
Mushfiqur Rahim (one) soon followed his team-mate to the pavilion, leaving the Tigers needing a massive 181 off 48 balls to win the match.
Siddique lost the chance to make his first ODI century when he hit a Shoaib Akhtar delivery straight back to the bowler.
Jahurul Islam (10) remained unbeaten but the Tigers could only amass 246 for five.
Earlier, Hasan got Pakistan off to a flyer with a towering six and a four off Shafiul Islam in the first over.
Farhat followed suit and smashed a boundary off Shafiul Islam to bring 50 up for his side in the eighth over.
But Hasan fell to Mahmudullah soon after completing his half-century.
Umar Amin joined Farhat in the middle and the duo brought 100 up for Pakistan in the 18th over.
Farhat reached his 50 soon after and celebrated the feat with a big maximum off Mahmudullah.
But Amin (22) was soon on his way after a bizarre run-out.

The batsman finished a comfortable single and but went back to the other side of the stumps as Mahmudullah was bowling round the wicket. While doing this he did not ground his bat and the bowler broke the bails with the third-umpire having no choice but to give him out.
Asad Shafiq was dismissed by Shakib Al Hasan in the 29th over after contributing just 17 but Afridi kept on attacking and raced to his 31st ODI half-century with a dashing square cut four overs later.
The batsman finally got his century with a four, but lost his wicket to Islam in the 48th over.
Abdul Razzaq (21no) and Kamran Akmal's (23) quick-fire innings at the death helped Pakistan post a big target.
